Double Cordwise Ballooning
To minimize wrinkling when inflating the kite, we use double cordwise ballooning. It reduces wrinkling to a minimum by precisely calculated arcuate cuts. This optimizes the aerodynamics, in particular the glide ratio, as well as the low end of the glider.
Flat Winglet Technology
The Flat Winglet Technology is used to noticeably reduce the induced resistance with increased buoyancy. This leads to an improvement in the glide ratio and thus the airspeed of the kite. Furthermore, it increases the pull when turning with less susceptibility to folding the tips.
Maximum Pressure Valves
The maximum pressure valves in the center of the leading edge ensure maximum back pressure. So the kite fills quickly at the start and accelerates fully depleted always further. In order to direct the air more directly into the kite with every flow, the valve intermediate wall is movable. The screen is thus stiffer, direct and folding stable.
Lightweight Construction
The SONIC2 benefits from a unique material composition. The LOTUS top sail forms a wrinkle-free sash profile and facilitates the relaunch in light wind. The DLX + under sail contributes to the directness of the kite and enables a reactive barfeedback. The ribs, V-cells and ribbons of the internal structure are designed for diagonal stiffness, in order to keep the SONIC2 in shape at highest loads. The gained weight reduction provides more stability and makes lower downwind driving.
Triple Depower Technology
No less than three methods result in a maximum depower effect on the kite: angle of attack reduction, profile bowing and reduction of the projected area. For maximum wind range and ideal handling.
Sharp Mini Ribs
The doubling of the leech considerably increases the dimensional stability of the glider. Advantage: Less turbulence improves the aerodynamics and thus the performance.
Automatic Lentz system
The proven Lentz system is in the form of hand-wide openings at both ends of the spoiler lip in the tip area. This allows water and sand to drain automatically without affecting the kite's flying behavior.

Rigid Foil Technology
Rigid Foil Technology on the leading edge reduces wrinkles. This leads to lower air resistance and increased buoyancy. As a result, the kite turns every gust of wind into propulsion without deforming the cap. Overall, the kite becomes stiffer and more dynamic.
